The African Diaspora in Bénin
While only a few hundred member of the African Diaspora work or have repatriated to Benin, the number ae expected to grow in the years ahead. Queen Mother Semevo is a advocate of the Right to Return. The creation of the Imperial Corps Agoodjié of the American Diaspora, is a symbol of the bilateral changes all begin yet to come. We thank the elders of the African Diaspora Queen Mere Jah and Pere Jah for welcoming us with some of our sisters and brothers from Cuba, Guadelope, Haiti, Martinique and the USA.

In Benin for over 40 years, the Jah family are legendary. Sustainable development experts, food warriors and educators, the priestly couple have been a beacon for those repatriating in Benin for decades. They welcomed the Agoodijé abundantly.
The International Movement for Reparations
Founded by the Honorable Garcin Malsa in 2000, MIR takes the message of reparations for the African Diaspora throughout the AfroAtlantic World. The Queen Mother serves as their North American Ambassador and invited them to Benin for their 2019 conference.
